Your server, your data
ITSM Engine runs as one container next to PostgreSQL and S3-compatible storage. Start on one server and grow to several when you need to, with the same features in both and nothing to buy.

How it works
The Docker Compose setup runs Caddy with automatic HTTPS, the desk, PostgreSQL 17 and MinIO for files. On a Linux server with Docker, a domain and ports 80 and 443 open, you fill in .env, run docker compose up and open the setup link. Ready-made images aren’t published yet, so it builds from source.
The setup wizard walks through the address, email by SMTP or Resend, file storage, bot protection, the licence key, your organization and brand, what the desk is for and the first admin, with live checks. Afterwards the same settings are under Settings → Installation.
Standard is everything on one server. Scale runs the same image on several app servers with a worker, PgBouncer, Redis and Caddy as the load balancer. Scale is not an edition: nothing is unlocked by it and nothing is paid for.
Every installation has a free licence key. It is checked on the server without calling home, the free key turns on every plugin for any number of staff with no end date, and a running desk never stops because of it.
What it includes
Docker Compose with HTTPS
Caddy gets the certificate, and portals can have their own domains.
Setup wizard
Every setting with a live check, and environment variables always win.
Standard and Scale
One server, or several app servers with PgBouncer and Redis, without moving your data.
Measured
Load tests with thousands of agents online, and a sizing table in the docs.
amd64 and arm64
Docker Engine 25 or later, from 2 vCPU and 2 GB of memory.
Backups and restore
Scripts for the database and files, with checksums.
Upgrades
A new image on the same database, with migrations at start and a notice when a release is out.
Hosted by a provider
A provider can also run a desk for you, with its settings marked as theirs.
